#1 Top Beaches in Cancun
Chac-Mool Beach/Playa Forum
This beach is located toward the top of the peninsula, near the heart of the hotel zone in Cancun at The Forum. As a public beach, it draws crowds during certain hours. The infamous Photography rock is on this beach where couples get wedding and family photos taken throughout the day. The best time to go is Monday - Saturday from 8am - 2pm. Sunday's are packed because its "Locals Day".
Because its located at the tip it tends to get less seaweed during its high season. During the seaweed high season tractors service the beach everyday.
The turquoise water is absolutely stunning and the sand is white and powdery so it doesn't stick to your feet. The waves can vary day-to-day from calm to moderately crashing.
Our
condo vacation rentals are located on this beach. Just walk out of the lobby and onto the sand. We provide beach essentials such as towels, umbrellas, chairs, coolers and surf boards. Lifeguards on duty.

#2 Top Beaches in Cancun
Playa Caracol
This beach is a hidden gem and is located next to the UltraMar Ferry at the Isla Mujeres dock. While smaller, this beach has the same white powdery sand, however the water is very calm and good for kids.
You can rent umbrellas and palapas for about $20 USD and there are two restaurants right on the beach for to-go food and drinks. Get there early and grab your spot!
Parking is sparse here so I recommend walking or taking a taxi.
This beach is a 5 min walk from our vacation rentals at The Salvia. Lifeguards on duty.

#3 Top Beaches in Cancun
Playa Delfines
This beach is one of the most popular for its sand, size and you can sometimes see dolphins! Its located away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone on Kukuclan Blvd, K.M. 17. It's a public beach and there is no charge.
The waves on this beach are huge and the water is choppy so please be aware. Its a surfers dream but may not be suitable for children.
Stay in the shade with grabbing an umbrellas or palapa for rent. Some of them are free but you have to get there early.
Take your Instagram photos in front of the huge Cancun sign.
Plenty of parking right on the beach and across the street for free.
